The Potato Holiday



Traditionally, the young people helped farmers to reap the harvest of potatoes in this holiday.  But now this process is mechanized and this day became the simple October weekend. British usually go to their country houses or just come to visit their relatives in this holiday.

A British victory parade was held after the defeat of Argentina in the Falklands War and organized by the City of London.  It took place in the United Kingdom capital of London, mainly encompassing a military parade with military bands through the City of London.
